A short haircut is the classic hairstyle that has been worn by African American men for generations. Many years ago, it was discovered that consistent brushing short hair in the same direction resulted in unique wave patterns around the hair that we originally called Brush Waves. Oils and Pomades were used to further develop this style.
The Doo-Rag, a nylon head scarf was created to help hold and mold the styles and maintain the style while sleeping. Today, this popular style is called 360 Waves. When the hair is cut very short and brushed often, a natural 360 degree pattern of waves form around the perimeter of the head. This is why they are called 360 Waves.
There have been many different techniques to achieve 360 waves. I have discovered this technique to work well. Follow these instructions and drop me a note to tell me how they turned out. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
What you will need:
Hair Texture
When beginning the wave process the hair should be at least 1 ½ inch in length to achieve the 360 waves. If the hair is any shorter it may be too low for waves to form. Now that you have the right hair length and you have gathered the things you will need. Let’s begin your 360 Waves Process. Decide which hair texture you have. Choose one and follow the Hollywood barber steps from there.
